Paycom Employee Login Guide

Paycom stands out for its full-solution automation in a single HR + Payroll software, which means all data flows into a single database. Forrester Consulting, a custom research arm of Forrester, conducted a study in June 2023, which found that Paycom’s automated payroll can save 90% of the labour needed to process payroll and nearly 2,600 hours annually for the HR and accounting teams correcting payroll errors.

Quickies About Paycom:

  • Paycom was established in 1998 by Chad Richison.
  • It’s headquarter is in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
  • It’s currently serving more than 37,500 clients.
  • Paycom has received several awards, including the World’s Best Companies by TIME, America’s Best Employers for Tech Workers by Forbes, and Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company.
  • They have built  their payroll and HR software on a single database

Process to access and manage your account:

With Paycom’s HCM system, clients and employees can access and manage their account seperately, using “Client” and “Employee” sections under the login tab. Here’s how you can do that:

  • Visit Paycom’s official website.
  • Click the Login button just before the Request Meeting button.
  • By just hovering on the Login button, you can see a drop-down list of four options: Client, Employee, Accountant, and COBRA Account.
  • If you are an admin, HR, or Payroll team member of that company who uses Paycom, click the Client button.
  • Enter client code, username, and password, and click Login. Use a similar process if you are going to use the accountant option.
  • Employees can choose the “Employee” option, enter their username, password, last four digits of SSN or PIN, and click Login.
  • As a client, you can retrieve or reset your password using the “Forgot Password” link under the Login button.
  • As an employee, you can retrieve your username and reset your password, as links for both operations are available as usual under the “Login” button at the login page.

Single Sign-On: Clients, accountants, and employees can choose this secure option, available just below the “Login” option. Enter client code, company domain, or username, and click “Login” to gain access. That way is time-saving, as the system fetches your details through the company’s data record; you don’t need to go through any additional security checkpoints.

COBRA Account: If you’ve moved on from your job or got booted from the company, and still want to continue the health insurance of your company, then choose this option as a former employee of that company. Just under the login tab, choose “COBRA account” from the drop-down list. Enter account number (which is a unique member ID, which you can get from your monthly premium invoice, or from the insurance card that your insurance admin provided you ) and your email id. Click “Login.” After successful login, you can check your premium payments, coverage dates, and continue or cancel your health insurance.

Important Notes:

  • As per the Paycom suggestion, you must contact your Admin or HR if you have forgotten your username or password. Only they can help you, as a commitment to the privacy and security of all employees’ personal data records. As a commitment to ensuring the privacy and security of all employees’ personal data, Paycom is unable to assist directly with username or password issues.
  • Be mindful that Paycom will never ask for your user ID, password, or other personal details through email or text message.
  • Paycom has no authority to send you any login links via email, such as for account setup or password reset. So, make sure to use links from trusted sources.
  • Paycom truly stands by its commitment to protect your personal data by adding numerous additional security layers and rigorous inspection standards, including real-time backups to off-site locations, latest tech, next-generation firewalls, redundant infrastructure, data loss prevention & traffic monitoring, etc.
  • In case your account is locked, Paycom will unlock it after 15 days.
  • Chad Richison is the CEO, President, and Chairman of Paycom, while Chris Thomas is appointed as a Co-CEO of Paycom.
