Paylocity is an HCM platform where HR, Finance, and IT meet in one place. It provides you with solutions for two assessments: Company Size and Industry, so you can evaluate your business on both criteria to find a better solution.

Paylocity Employee/Employer Login Process
Whether you are an employee or employer with the company that uses Paylocity’s HCM platform, here how you can access your account:
- Visit Paylocity’s official page
- In the top right area, you can easily find the “Login” tab just under the Request a Demo ” button.
- Hover on the Login tab and click. Here on the Login page, enter your Company ID, Username, and Password.
- Then, click the “Login” button to gain access.
- Alternatively, you can use a secure “Single Sign In” button, where you enter the Company ID and face some security steps to gain access.
Important Notes
Note 1: Toggle “Remember My Username”; this way, you’ll save your time by not needing to re-enter your Username and Company ID each time.
Note 2: On the same login page, you can find the “Forgot Your Password” link, which you can use and fill out Company ID, Username, and phone number or email to reset your password.
Note 3: If you even forgotten your Company ID or Username, then click the “Need Help?” blue text available under both the Company ID and Username boxes. There, input Last Name, Last 4 digits of SSN, Home Zip Code, and either Email or Phone number. Paylocity’s system will text, call, or email a 4-digit OTP (One Time Passcode), which you need to enter and click continue. There may be some security questions you need to tackle, once the system returns you to the login page with both of the details already filled. It’s almost the same story when it comes to resetting the password.
New Employee? Register First
To maintain confidentiality and prevent unauthorized access, registration is a valid proof that you are an employee of a company that uses Paylcity’s HCM platform. So, if you want to access your company’s provided employee account, you must first register on Paylocity.
Here’s how you can do that:
- While on the Paylocity Login page, click the “Register New User” link, located just under the “Forgot Password” link.
- Now, on the registration page, you will find three buttons: The first one is if your HR or payroll team provided you with any offer code or passcode, then you can click on this link, enter that registration passcode on the next page, click continue, attempt security questions, click continue, verify or run through all the filled details, and click finish to complete registration process.
- If you don’t have a passcode, click the second button, which says “I don’t have a registration passcode.” Enter your Company ID, SSN, confirm SSN, date of birth, and validate the captcha, and click continue.
- Again, attempt security questions (if any), click continue, validate details, then click Finish.
- If you mistakenly visited the registration page, click the “return to login” page button.
Keep In Mind
- Paycor is not authorized to talk directly to the employees, so it’s better to contact your admin regarding any query, for the sake of confidentiality.
- If you are an employee of a company that uses Paylocity, you are authorized for self-registration. Any person other than that is forbidden to do so.
- You have to attempt or choose three unique questions and enter answers accordingly. There is no chance whatsoever to choose one or two questions, and to repeat already used questions.
Customer Support From Paylocity
On the official page, you can hover to the top right area, and can easily see the customer support tab.
- Just click the “Client Support” option under the Contact Us section, scroll down a bit, and you’ll find two different segments, one for the employees of the company that uses Paylocity, and the other is for the respective company’s admin. You can find FAQs related to both of these designations.
- If you are an admin, HR, or authorized person of your company, you can contact the 888-873-8205 available number, Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Central Time.
